Description
A 6-light rail light in Brushed Natural Brass with adjustable arms and tapered shades, offering flexible mid-century modern illumination for kitchens and dining areas.
The Sylvia rail light by Kichler features six adjustable arms with sleek tapered shades in Brushed Natural Brass. The flexible design allows you to direct light exactly where needed, making it ideal for kitchen islands, dining tables, or workspaces. The mid-century modern aesthetic adds a stylish touch to contemporary interiors.
Best for
- Kitchen islands 6-8 ft long, with shades positioned over the counter for task lighting
- Dining rooms, hung over a rectangular table with each shade aimed at the table surface
- Home office desks or craft tables, providing focused task lighting
- Covered patios or sunrooms (damp-rated) for ambient lighting
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or wet areas - damp rated but not wet rated
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 ft, as the rail extends 9.5 in from the ceiling
- Rooms needing a single central light source - this is a linear, directional fixture
How bright is it?
Uses six 50W MR16 GU10 bulbs (not included). Total potential brightness up to 3000 lumens if using 50W equivalent LED bulbs, suitable for task and ambient lighting.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on bulbs chosen. The tapered shades focus light downward, creating pools of light. Not dimmable as shipped; check bulb compatibility for dimming.
