Description
A compact 3-inch semi-flush mount light from Kuzco's Barclay Collection, finished in black powder-coat aluminum, ideal for hallways and entryways where a low-profile directional light is needed.
The Barclay semi-flush mount features a cylindrical lamp head with a recessed bulb socket and a circular attachment plate connected by a vertical stem. The black powder-coat finish gives it a modern, industrial look. The head can be adjusted 90 degrees to direct light where needed.
Best for
- Hallways and corridors with 8-9 ft ceilings, providing ambient or accent light
- Entryways and foyers where a low-profile fixture is preferred
- Bedrooms or living rooms as a secondary light source
- Dry indoor locations only
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - this fixture is rated for dry locations only
- Spaces requiring bright, widespread illumination - this is a compact accent light
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulb used. It accepts one 50W halogen GU10 bulb (not included). With a typical 50W halogen, expect about 400-500 lumens - similar to a 40W incandescent, suitable for accent or ambient light.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulb chosen. Halogen bulbs typically produce a warm white (2700-3000K) light. The fixture is not dimmable unless a dimmable bulb and compatible dimmer are used.
Sizing and fit
The fixture is 3.5 inches high with a 2.38-inch diameter shade. The round canopy is 4.5 inches in diameter. It mounts flush to the ceiling and works well in rooms with standard 8-9 ft ceilings.
