Description
A 16.5-inch 3-light semi flush mount in black with frosted glass, ideal for kitchens, hallways, and transitional interiors.
The Alkire collection combines modern classic styling with a clean black finish and satin etched white glass. The round steel frame and frosted glass diffuser create soft, even illumination suitable for a variety of spaces.
Best for
- Kitchens with 8-9 ft ceilings, providing ambient light over a sink or prep area
- Hallways and entryways needing a low-profile light that doesn't hang too low
- Transitional and modern interiors where a simple, clean fixture is desired
- Bedrooms and living rooms as a flush mount alternative for lower ceilings
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - this fixture is rated for dry locations only
- Spaces requiring dimmable lighting - this fixture is not dimmable
- Large rooms over 12x12 ft as a primary light source - consider a larger fixture or multiple lights
How bright is it?
Uses three 75W A19 incandescent bulbs (not included). At 75W each, total output is approximately 3300 lumens - bright enough for a medium-sized room. For a softer glow, use lower wattage or LED equivalents.
Light color and feel
Bulb-dependent. With standard incandescent bulbs, the light is warm (2700K). The frosted glass diffuses light evenly, reducing glare and creating a soft ambient glow.
Sizing and fit
16.5 inches wide and 9.25 inches high. The backplate is 5 inches in diameter. Best for ceilings 8 ft or higher. The low profile (9.25 in) makes it suitable for hallways and rooms with limited clearance.
