Description
A 7-light linear pendant with matte black and white glass, perfect for kitchen islands and dining rooms.
The Newton Sphere collection is a modern industrial line that incorporates exceptional architectural details with beautiful globe-shaped shades. This linear pendant features seven white glass shades suspended from a matte black frame, creating a striking, sculptural look. The shades are easily removed for cleaning, and the cords can be cut to customize the hanging height.
Best for
- Kitchen islands 6-8 feet long, hung 30-36 inches above the counter
- Dining room tables, providing even ambient light
- Open-concept living areas where a statement fixture is needed
- Rooms with sloped ceilings, as this fixture is sloped ceiling compatible
Not ideal for
- Small rooms under 10x10 feet - the 52-inch width may overwhelm
- Low ceilings under 8 feet, as the minimum hanging height is about 22.75 inches
How bright is it?
With seven sockets rated for up to 100 watts each, this pendant can produce up to 7000 lumens if using 100W incandescent bulbs - enough to brightly light a large kitchen island. Using lower-wattage LED bulbs will reduce brightness while saving energy.
Light color and feel
Using warm white (2700-3000K) bulbs, the light is cozy and inviting, perfect for dining. The white glass shades diffuse light softly, reducing glare. Dimmable with compatible dimmer and bulbs.
Sizing and fit
The pendant measures 52 inches long by 8 inches wide by 9.13 inches high. Each pendant includes 120 inches of cord, which can be cut to the desired length. The canopy is 5.38 inches long by 48 inches wide.
