The Crew outdoor lantern by Hinkley evokes a maritime feel with its roof and wire cage inspired by vintage ship lighting. How bright is it?

Uses one medium-base bulb up to 100W (not included). With a standard 60W LED equivalent (800 lumens), it provides comfortable ambient light for a small to medium outdoor area. For brighter output, use a 100W equivalent LED bulb (about 1500 lumens).

Light color and feel

Bulb color is your choice. For warm ambiance, choose a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The white inner shade softens and diffuses the light, reducing glare. The fixture is not dimmable unless a dimmable bulb and compatible dimmer are used.

Sizing and fit

The lantern is 15 inches wide, 15 inches deep, and 15.75 inches high. It hangs from a 60-inch chain with 72 inches of wire, allowing ceiling heights up to about 10 ft. The canopy is 6 x 6 inches. Suitable for sloped ceilings up to 90 degrees.

Is it dimmable? The fixture itself is not dimmable, but you can use a dimmable bulb and a compatible dimmer switch.

Can I install this in a bathroom or outdoors? Yes, it is wet-rated for outdoor use including rain and snow. Not recommended for indoor bathrooms unless you prefer the style.

What's the warranty? Hinkley's general warranty applies; outdoor finish warranty covers the black finish against fading.

Can it be installed on a sloped ceiling? Yes, it is rated for sloped ceilings up to 90 degrees.
