Description
A 1-light outdoor wall sconce in Winchester black, sized for porches, patios, and coastal entryways.
The Bayside brings a relaxed coastal feel to exterior walls with its Winchester finish and open, lantern-inspired silhouette. It takes a single G40 bulb, so the bulb itself becomes part of the look - a round globe reads soft and welcoming beside a door. The 10.75-inch extension gives it real presence on siding and trim.
Best for
- Covered porches and front entries where a lantern-style sconce suits the architecture
- Coastal and cottage exteriors in white, gray, or natural wood siding
- Patio and deck walls flanking a door or stair
- Pairing in twos on either side of a garage or side entry
Not ideal for
- Tight wall spaces - the 10.75 in extension needs clearance from doors and trim
- Anyone wanting a fully enclosed fixture; the open design exposes the bulb
- Large facades that call for a taller, more imposing sconce
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. It accepts one G40 bulb up to 100W, so brightness is set by your bulb choice - a 60-75W-equivalent LED globe gives comfortable entry lighting.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulb you install; no bulb is included. A warm white globe (2700-3000K) suits coastal and traditional exteriors and keeps the porch feeling inviting after dark.
Sizing and fit
Overall 9.25 in wide x 10.75 in deep x 10.25 in tall, with a 4 3/4 in backplate that projects 1 1/4 in. The generous extension means it stands well clear of the wall - plan for door swing and walkway clearance. Best on single-story entries and covered porches.
