Description
A 9.5-inch outdoor semi-flush mount for porches and covered patios, finished in black with a Dark Sky-compliant metal shade.
The Rue collection brings modern farmhouse character to exterior ceilings. The sleek black finish and open-bottom metal shade direct light downward while meeting neighborhood Dark Sky requirements. Steel construction stands up to damp exterior environments, and the semi-flush profile suits lower porch ceilings.
Best for
- Covered porches and patios with standard-height ceilings
- Entryway overhangs and breezeways
- Homes in Dark Sky communities that restrict upward light
- Damp interior spaces like covered sunrooms
Not ideal for
- Exposed locations with direct rain - rated for dry or damp areas only
- Spaces needing broad ambient light - the metal shade directs light downward
- Dimmable circuits - this fixture is not dimmable
How bright is it?
800 lumens with the recommended 60W bulb - roughly as bright as a standard 60W incandescent. Ideal for accent and porch lighting, not as a primary light for large areas.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulb you choose. The fixture uses one medium-base 60W bulb (not included). Pair with a warm white LED for a soft, welcoming porch glow.
Sizing and fit
Overall 9.5 in W x 14 in H. Shade 9.5 in W x 10.25 in H. Backplate 5 in W x 5 in H. Works well on ceilings at least 8 feet high.
