Designers Fountain DC Series 12in 1-Light Flush Mount | Contemporary Matte Black and White Acrylic | Entryway & Hallway | Model EV1412C5D-43-2

A 12-inch round integrated LED flush mount ceiling light for entryways, hallways, and kitchens, finished in matte black with a white acrylic diffuser.

The DC Series brings a clean, modern look to low ceilings and tight spaces. Its matte black metal housing pairs with a white acrylic shade that softens the light and hides the integrated LED engine - no bulbs to buy, ever. Five selectable white-light settings let you tune the mood from warm and cozy to bright and crisp, and the 90 CRI rating keeps colors looking true.

Best for

• Entryways and hallways where a low-profile ceiling light won't crowd the space
• Kitchens and utility rooms that need even, bright task lighting
• Bathrooms and powder rooms - rated for damp locations
• Bedrooms, closets, and home offices with standard 8-9 ft ceilings

Not ideal for

• Outdoor or uncovered patio areas - this fixture is rated for damp locations only, not wet locations
• Rooms where you want a statement chandelier or pendant - this is a discreet flush mount
• Very large rooms needing a primary light source - 1200 lumens covers a small to mid-size space

How bright is it?

1200 lumens - roughly comparable to a 75W incandescent bulb. That's plenty for a hallway, entry, or small kitchen, but it's an ambient/accent level for larger rooms rather than a sole primary light.

Light color and feel

Five selectable CCT settings: 2700K warm white (cozy, incandescent-like), 3000K soft white, 3500K neutral, 4000K bright white, and 5000K daylight. The 90 CRI rating means colors render accurately - useful in kitchens and bathrooms. Dimmable when paired with a compatible dimmer (dimmer not included).

Sizing and fit

12 in diameter x 3.82 in high - a low-profile design that works well under standard 8-9 ft ceilings. At just over 2 lbs, it's easy to install on most junction boxes. Hardwired to a 120V in-ceiling power source.
