Description
A single-light wall sconce with a clear ice glass shade and matte black finish, sized for bedrooms, hallways, and bathrooms.
The Astra sconce brings the collection's clear ice glass - a shade that fades from clear to frosted like an ombre finish - to a compact wall-mounted form. The matte black frame keeps the look modern and industrial. Mount it singly as an accent or in pairs to frame a mirror or bed.
Best for
- Bedrooms, mounted beside the bed as a reading sconce
- Hallways and stairwells, spaced every 6-8 ft
- Bathrooms, flanking a vanity mirror
- Living areas and dens as accent lighting
Not ideal for
- Rooms needing a bright primary light - at 60W max this is an accent sconce, not a room light
- Spaces with very traditional or ornate decor - the matte black and clear ice glass read modern/industrial
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulb you choose. With a single 60W-equivalent LED candle bulb you get roughly 800 lumens - about as bright as a 60W incandescent. That is ideal for accent or task lighting, not as a primary room light.
Light color and feel
Light color is set by your bulb, not the fixture. A 2700K-3000K warm white bulb gives a soft, golden tone that flatters skin tones and wood interiors. The clear ice glass diffuses light softly while keeping a bright, clean look. Dimmable with a compatible dimmer switch.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 5.5 in wide x 7.5 in deep x 10.75 in high. The shade measures 5.5 in wide x 7.25 in high, with a 4.5 x 4.5 in backplate. Weighs 2.43 lbs. Mount 60-66 in above the floor for bedside or hallway use.
