Ion is a powerful high efficiency low profile 2in recessed downlight with an easy connect electrical box for simple installation. The universal input driver (120v-240v-277v) is fully concealed inside the electrical box and dimmable to 5% using a TRIAC or ELV dimmer. Ion is available in round or square as new construction or remodel with all options IC-Rated and Airtight. F9CS version in model number features a 5-CCT color temperature selectable switch with options ranging from 2700K-3000K-3500K-4000K-5000K. A frame-in kit is included with the new construction version, but can also be purchased separately (R2DRDN-FRAME). Wet location listing for indoor and outdoor applications or in showers.

- CONSTRUCTION: Die-cast aluminum with 20-gauge steel driver box. Ion is available in round or square as new construction or remodel with all options IC-Rated and Airtight. A frame-in kit is included with the new construction version, but can also be purchased separately for the remodel version (R2DRDN-FRAME).
- INSTALLATION: Male-to-female quick connect locking cable joins the light engine to the driver box. Driver box includes 5 knockouts allowing for an easy electrical connection.
- CUTOUT: Installs into a 3in round ceiling cutout, for ceiling thicknesses between 0.5in and 1.5in. Retention clips hold the light engine into place. Universal input driver 120V-220V-277V.
- DIMMING: Smooth and continuous dimming with an electronic low voltage (ELV) or TRIAC dimmer. Dims down 10% with ELV dimmers, and 5% with TRIAC dimmers.
