Description
A 26-inch tall solid copper pendant with clear glass, styled after antique gas lights and suited to entryways, kitchens, and covered porches.
Chalmers recreates the look of historic gas lighting without a propane feed. It is made from solid copper and hand riveted, giving it the romantic reproduction character still seen on homes in New Orleans and Charleston. The aged copper finish and clear glass keep the light warm and unobstructed, and the fixture can hang indoors or in a covered outdoor space.
Best for
- Entryways and foyers in traditional, Southern, and cottage-style homes
- Kitchen islands and breakfast bars where a lantern silhouette adds character
- Covered porches and breezeways that stay out of direct rain
- Stairwells and two-story foyers where the 26 in height reads at scale
Not ideal for
- Fully exposed outdoor locations with no overhead cover - the copper and clear glass will weather faster
- Rooms needing bright task light - three 15W candelabra bulbs give a soft, ambient glow
- Low ceilings; at 26 in tall plus an 8 in chain it needs generous headroom
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. With three 15W candelabra bulbs it produces a moderate, ambient-level glow - best for atmosphere and accent, not as a room's primary light source.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulbs you choose; the fixture ships without bulbs. Warm 2700K-3000K candelabra bulbs suit the aged copper and historic styling. Dimmability depends on the bulbs and switch used.
Sizing and fit
Measures 12 in wide x 12 in deep x 26 in tall and weighs 14.37 lbs. It includes an 8 in chain, a 5.5 in x 5.5 in canopy, and a 12 ft cord, so it works in tall foyers and stairwells as well as standard 9-10 ft ceilings with the chain shortened.

Frequently asked
Is the bulb included? No - it takes three 15W candelabra-base bulbs, sold separately.
Is it dimmable? Dimmability depends on the bulbs and dimmer switch you use; the fixture does not restrict it.
Can I install this outdoors? Yes - it can be hung inside or in a covered outdoor area. Keep it out of direct rain for the longest finish life.
What's the warranty? Warranty terms are not specified in the source data; check with the manufacturer.
Is the copper real or plated? Chalmers is made from solid copper and hand riveted, so the finish is the metal itself and will patina over time.
