Description
A 6-inch LED accent light with high lumen output (1000/1200 lumens) in textured black, designed for outdoor wet locations.
The VLO LED Accent by Kichler features a Lumen Effect System that lets you switch between 1000 and 1200 lumens using a magnetic key. Its 15-degree beam angle provides focused accent lighting for architectural features or landscaping. Made of aluminum with a textured black finish, it is field-configurable for flexible installation.
Best for
- Outdoor landscapes, highlighting trees, statues, or garden features
- Architectural accent lighting on building facades or walls
- Pathways and driveways where a narrow beam is needed to illuminate specific areas
Not ideal for
- Indoor use—designed for wet locations but may be too bright for indoor accenting
- Wide area lighting—the 15-degree beam is narrow; consider a wider beam for general area lighting
How bright is it?
Selectable 1000 or 1200 lumens—equivalent to a 60-75W incandescent. This is very bright for an accent light, suitable for highlighting tall trees or large architectural details.
Light color and feel
3000K warm white with a CRI of 80, providing a natural, warm glow that complements outdoor greenery and stone. The LED is integrated and rated for 50,000 hours.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 6 inches long, 2.75 inches wide, and 4.5 inches high. It operates on 12V AC and includes a 6-inch lead wire. The textured black finish blends well with outdoor environments.
