Description
A 6-inch wide, 1-light wall sconce from the Preston Collection, finished in antique copper with clear glass, for hallways and bedrooms.
This sconce features an elongated bell-shaped glass shade paired with a sleek Arcadia frame. The fluted detailing adds texture and sophistication, while the clean lines enhance its modern appeal. The antique copper finish and clear glass create a timeless yet contemporary look.
Best for
- Hallways, mounted at eye level to provide ambient light and highlight artwork
- Bedrooms as reading sconces beside the bed, with the light directed downward
- Living rooms to create a warm, inviting glow in seating areas
- Entryways, adding a welcoming touch
- Homes with industrial, modern, restoration-vintage, or transitional decor
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is rated for damp locations only, not wet
- Outdoor uncovered areas - not rated for wet locations
- Spaces where a compact, low-profile light is needed - this sconce extends 7.63 inches from the wall
How bright is it?
This sconce accepts up to a 100W bulb (not included). With a 60W incandescent bulb, it would produce about 800 lumens - enough for accent or ambient lighting. LED bulbs are compatible and can provide similar brightness with less energy.
Light color and feel
Bulb color temperature is not specified by the manufacturer, but we recommend warm white (2700K-3000K) bulbs to complement the antique copper finish. This creates a cozy, inviting glow that flatters wood tones and neutral palettes. The fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the mood.
Sizing and fit
The sconce measures 6.25 inches wide, 13.5 inches high, and extends 7.63 inches from the wall. The backplate is 4.5 inches wide and 6.25 inches high. It's a medium-sized sconce suitable for hallways, bedrooms, and other spaces where a bit of presence is desired.
