Description
A 6-inch, one-light semi-flush mount with an antique copper frame and clear glass globe, ideal for hallways and bedrooms.
The Preston collection features a classic bulb-shaped glass with beautiful fluting, complemented by the slim and stylish Arcadia frame. The combination of the bulb's rounded silhouette and the Arcadia's sleek design makes this fixture a perfect choice for modern and transitional interiors, creating a warm, inviting ambiance.
Best for
- Hallways and entryways with 8-9 ft ceilings, providing ambient light
- Bedrooms as a central light fixture, especially in smaller rooms
- Dining areas and kitchens where a compact, stylish light is needed
- Modern, industrial, or transitional interiors
Not ideal for
- Sloped ceilings, as this fixture is not sloped ceiling adaptable
- Large rooms over 12x12 ft, as a single 100W bulb may not provide sufficient light
How bright is it?
This fixture accepts one 100W incandescent bulb (not included). For LED bulbs, lumen output depends on the bulb chosen; a typical 100W equivalent LED provides about 1600 lumens, which is suitable for ambient lighting in small to medium rooms.
Light color and feel
The clear glass globe provides bright, unobstructed light. Since the fixture is dimmable, you can adjust the brightness to create the desired ambiance. The color temperature depends on the bulbs you choose; warm white (2700-3000K) is recommended for a cozy feel.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 6.25 inches in diameter and 12.25 inches in height, with a canopy of 4.88 inches. It is flush-mounted, making it suitable for rooms with standard 8-foot ceilings.
