Best for
- Hallways, mounted at eye level to create a welcoming glow
- Bedrooms as a reading sconce beside the bed
- Living rooms to highlight architectural features or art
- Damp-rated locations like bathrooms with ventilation
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas without cover, as this fixture is rated for damp locations only
- Spaces with very low ceilings where the 12.5-inch height might feel imposing
How bright is it?
This sconce uses one medium-base bulb (not included) with a maximum wattage of 100W. With a 60W incandescent equivalent, you can expect around 800 lumens, ideal for accent or ambient lighting.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, cozy feel, select a 2700K-3000K bulb. The mercury glass shade diffuses light softly, reducing glare and creating a gentle glow.
