Description
A seven-light linear pendant from the Owego collection, finished in brushed satin nickel with clear glass teardrop shades, designed for kitchen islands and dining rooms.
The Owego pendant features organic teardrop glass shades artfully suspended from a tiered metal frame, each holding a single filament bulb. The brushed satin nickel finish and clear glass create a contemporary Art Deco look that works beautifully over a kitchen island or dining table. With a 120-inch cord that can be cut to length, you can customize the hanging height to perfectly suit your space.
Best for
- Kitchen islands 6-8 feet long, hung 30-36 inches above the counter for focused task lighting
- Dining rooms with a rectangular table, providing ambient and accent light
- Open-plan living areas where a statement linear fixture is needed
- Spaces with sloped ceilings, as this fixture is sloped-ceiling compatible
- Contemporary or Art Deco interiors that appreciate geometric, tiered designs
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or outdoor covered areas - this fixture is rated for damp locations only, not wet locations
- Small rooms under 8 feet wide, as the 49-inch width may overwhelm the space
- Low ceilings under 8 feet if you need the full 120-inch cord length
How bright is it?
Each socket accepts up to a 100W incandescent bulb (not included), so with seven bulbs you can achieve up to 7000 lumens - bright enough to serve as a primary light source for a large kitchen or dining area. For a softer glow, use lower-wattage or dimmable LED bulbs.
Light color and feel
The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the light level. With clear glass shades and filament bulbs, the light is warm and inviting, similar to traditional incandescent. The color temperature will depend on the bulbs you choose; for a warm, cozy feel, select bulbs around 2700K.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 49 inches wide, 5 inches deep, and 11 inches high, with a minimum hanging height of 24.88 inches and a maximum of 132.88 inches. The canopy is 48 inches long and 5.38 inches wide. This linear pendant is best suited for rooms with ceilings at least 9 feet high to allow for proper clearance.
