This fixture uses seven 100-watt bulbs (not included), so brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. With standard 100W incandescent bulbs, you can expect around 10,500 lumens total, enough to light a large kitchen or dining area. For a softer glow, use lower-wattage LED bulbs.
