Description
A 12-inch dome mini pendant in antique copper with a natural fiber shade, ideal for kitchen islands and dining areas.
The Natural Ballston Dome mini pendant brings a warm, organic touch to farmhouse and rustic interiors. Its antique copper finish and natural fiber shade create a cozy, inviting glow, while the adjustable cord allows for flexible placement. This fixture is damp-rated, making it suitable for covered outdoor areas as well.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and breakfast bars, hung 30-36 inches above the counter for task and ambient light
- Dining rooms, centered over a table for intimate meals
- Entryways and foyers, adding a warm welcome
- Covered patios and porches, thanks to its damp-rated construction
- Farmhouse, country cottage, and rustic lodge interiors
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - while damp-rated, it is not wet-rated for open water spray
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet if you need the full 120-inch cord extended
- Primary room lighting in large open-plan areas - it's a single 100W bulb, better for accent or task lighting
How bright is it?
With a maximum 100W incandescent bulb (not included), this pendant can produce up to 1600 lumens - roughly equivalent to a 100W incandescent, bright enough for task lighting over a kitchen island or dining table, but not a replacement for a large chandelier in a grand room.
Light color and feel
The natural fiber shade diffuses light softly, creating a warm, ambient glow. If you use a 2700K LED bulb, expect a cozy, golden tone similar to traditional incandescent lighting, flattering to wood and earth tones. The fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the mood from bright task lighting to a soft evening glow.
Sizing and fit
This pendant measures 11.75 inches wide and 14.2 inches high, with an adjustable cord up to 120 inches. It's ideal for ceilings 8 feet or higher, and the sloped ceiling compatibility adds flexibility. The canopy is 4.88 inches in diameter, fitting standard junction boxes.
