Description
A 9-inch dome-shaped semi-flush mount with a natural fiber shade and antique copper finish, for farmhouse and rustic interiors.
The Natural Ballston Dome brings organic texture to your ceiling with its natural fiber dome shade. The antique copper canopy adds a warm, rustic contrast, making it a standout piece in kitchens, dining rooms, and entryways. Its compact size fits well in smaller spaces.
Best for
- Kitchens with 8-9 ft ceilings, mounted over a table or island
- Dining rooms and breakfast nooks, creating a warm, inviting glow
- Entryways and foyers, making a natural first impression
- Farmhouse-style living rooms and bedrooms
- Covered porches or patios, as it is damp-rated
Not ideal for
- Large open rooms needing bright, primary illumination - this is a single-bulb accent light
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure, despite damp rating, if you prefer a wet-rated fixture
- Spaces with sloped ceilings, as it is not sloped-ceiling adaptable
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer, but it uses a single medium-base bulb (not included) with a recommended ST64 vintage shape. With a 60W equivalent LED bulb, you can expect about 800 lumens - suitable for ambient and accent lighting, not as a primary work light.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, cozy feel, select a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The natural fiber shade will diffuse light softly, creating a warm, textured glow that enhances rustic and farmhouse decor.
Sizing and fit
This semi-flush mount measures 9 inches in diameter and 11 inches in height, making it ideal for ceilings 8 feet or higher. The canopy is 4.88 inches in diameter, and the fixture weighs just 2.7 lbs, so it can be mounted on standard electrical boxes.
