Description
An 8-inch flush mount ceiling light with an antique copper finish and mercury glass globe shade, ideal for hallways, bedrooms, and other spaces with low ceilings.
Part of the Beacon Collection, Caden reveals industrial inspiration with exposed fittings but takes a more modern approach in design. The clean lines and dramatic styling makes Caden a perfect fit for any design. The antique copper body and mercury glass shade create a vintage, industrial look, while the hand-blown glass adds a unique, artisanal touch.
Best for
- Hallways and corridors with 8-foot ceilings, providing ambient light without taking up visual space
- Bedrooms, especially as a bedside or dressing area light
- Entryways and foyers, adding a vintage industrial accent
- Kitchens and dining areas, as a supplementary light over counters or tables
- Bathrooms and covered outdoor areas - this fixture is damp rated
Not ideal for
- Large rooms needing bright, primary illumination - the 100W incandescent bulb (not included) provides moderate light
- Spaces with very low ceilings under 7 feet, as the fixture extends 12.75 inches down
- Sloped ceilings - this fixture is not sloped ceiling adaptable
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulb used; it is rated for up to 100W incandescent (bulb not included). For reference, a 100W incandescent bulb produces about 1600 lumens, which is suitable for ambient lighting in medium-sized rooms.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulb used. The mercury glass shade diffuses light softly, creating a warm, inviting glow. Dimmable for adjustable ambiance.
