Description
A compact 8-inch flush mount ceiling light with an antique copper finish and seedy glass shade, ideal for hallways, bedrooms, and other spaces with low ceilings.
The Caden flush mount from Innovations Lighting brings industrial inspiration to a modern silhouette. Exposed fittings and a cone-shaped seedy glass shade give it a rugged, vintage character, while the antique copper finish adds warmth. It's a versatile choice for adding character to any room without taking up visual space.
Best for
- Hallways and corridors with 8-foot ceilings, providing focused ambient light
- Bedrooms, especially as a bedside or dressing area light
- Entryways and foyers, mounted on standard flat ceilings
- Kitchens and dining areas where a compact, industrial accent is desired
- Home offices or studies needing a warm, task-friendly glow
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is rated for damp locations, not wet locations
- Sloped or vaulted ceilings - this fixture is not sloped ceiling adaptable
- Spaces requiring bright, primary illumination - it's designed for accent or ambient light
How bright is it?
This fixture accepts one 100W incandescent bulb (not included), producing up to 1600 lumens - roughly equivalent to a traditional 100W bulb. That's bright enough for general room lighting in small to medium spaces, but for larger rooms you may want to pair it with additional lighting.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you choose. With a standard incandescent bulb, you'll get a warm, golden glow around 2700K. The seedy glass shade diffuses the light, creating a soft, textured ambiance that flatters warm wood and metal interiors. The fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the mood to your preference.
Sizing and fit
This flush mount measures 8 inches in diameter and 7 inches in height, making it a compact choice for rooms with low ceilings. The round canopy is 4.5 inches in diameter. It's designed for flat ceilings only - not sloped or vaulted.
