Description
A 6-inch semi-flush mount light with a teardrop-shaped sapphire blue glass shade, finished in antique copper, for bedrooms and hallways.
The Brookhaven Almond collection brings a dynamic teardrop silhouette to your ceiling. The hand-blown glass shade in sapphire blue adds a pop of color, while the antique copper metal frame offers a vintage-industrial feel. This fixture is a versatile choice that blends seamlessly with modern, transitional, and restoration-vintage décor.
Best for
- Bedrooms with 8-9 ft ceilings, providing ambient light above a bed or seating area
- Hallways and entryways, adding a decorative focal point
- Dining nooks and breakfast areas, offering warm, inviting illumination
- Living rooms with lower ceilings, where a flush mount is needed
- Damp-rated locations like covered porches or bathrooms with ventilation
Not ideal for
- Spaces with sloped ceilings, as this fixture is not sloped ceiling adaptable
- Large rooms requiring high brightness, as it uses a single 100W bulb
- Areas needing direct task lighting, such as a kitchen prep zone
How bright is it?
With a maximum 100W incandescent bulb (not included), this fixture can produce up to about 1600 lumens, similar to a traditional 100W bulb. This is suitable for ambient lighting in medium-sized rooms, but not as a primary light for large spaces.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, cozy feel, use a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The sapphire blue glass will cast a subtle tint, creating a unique ambiance. This fixture is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the mood.
Sizing and fit
This semi-flush mount measures 6 inches in diameter and 14.5 inches in height, making it ideal for rooms with standard 8-foot ceilings. The canopy is 4.88 inches in diameter. It is hardwired and requires partial assembly.
