Best for
- Kitchen islands, hung in a row of two or three
- Dining rooms, providing focused lighting over a table
- Breakfast nooks and bar areas
- Entryways with high ceilings
- Industrial or transitional-style interiors
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct water exposure - this is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Spaces with very low ceilings (under 8 feet) if you use the full 134-inch drop
- Areas needing bright task lighting - this is more ambient
How bright is it?
With a single 100-watt incandescent bulb (not included), this pendant can produce up to 1500 lumens, similar to a standard 100W bulb. It's ideal for ambient lighting over a table or island, but you may need additional task lighting for food prep.
