Description
A 5-inch wall sconce with an antique copper finish and a mercury glass bell shade, perfect for bathrooms, hallways, and living areas.
The Bridal Veil sconce from Innovations Lighting features a sleek, industrial design with a heavy cast backplate and hand-blown glass shade. The antique copper finish adds warmth, while the mercury glass creates a reflective, shimmering effect when lit. This fixture can be mounted up or down, offering flexibility in placement.
Best for
- Bathrooms, rated for damp locations, mounted on either side of a vanity mirror
- Hallways and corridors, providing a warm, inviting glow
- Bedrooms as a bedside accent light
- Living rooms and dining areas where a vintage-industrial touch is desired
- Entryways and foyers to make a stylish first impression
Not ideal for
- Large open spaces where primary lighting is needed - this sconce provides accent light, not full illumination
- Spaces with very low ceilings if you prefer a flush mount, as this sconce extends 7 inches from the wall
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer, but it is designed for a single 100-watt incandescent bulb. With a standard LED bulb, expect a brightness comparable to a 60-watt incandescent, suitable for accent and ambient lighting.
Light color and feel
The mercury glass shade diffuses light with a soft, silvery glow. The color temperature depends on the bulb you choose - a warm white (2700K-3000K) bulb will produce a cozy, inviting light that flatters skin tones and complements warm interiors.
Sizing and fit
This sconce measures 5 inches wide, 7 inches deep, and 10.75 inches high, with a 7-inch extension from the wall. The backplate is 4.5 inches wide by 6.25 inches high. It is suitable for most wall spaces and pairs well with standard 8-foot ceilings.
