Description
A 16-inch stem mini pendant for kitchen islands and dining rooms, finished in polished nickel with a matching metal shade.
Part of the Appalachian collection, this pendant brings a traditional yet industrial touch to your home. The polished nickel finish and cone-shaped metal shade are versatile, fitting into a range of decor styles. The adjustable stem and swivel allow for flexible installation, including sloped ceilings.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and breakfast bars, hung 30-36 inches above the counter
- Dining rooms, centered over a table for focused lighting
- Entryways and stairwells with high ceilings, using the adjustable stem
- Living rooms with a seating area, providing task or accent light
- Hallways and corridors with a statement light
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct water exposure - damp-rated, but not wet-rated
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 ft - the minimum hanging height is 17 inches, which may be too low
- Areas needing a flush mount due to very low ceilings
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulb you choose. It accepts one 100W incandescent bulb (not included), which can produce up to 1600 lumens - enough for task lighting over a kitchen island or dining table. For a softer glow, use a lower-wattage LED.
Light color and feel
The metal shade directs light downward, creating a focused pool of light. The color temperature will depend on the bulb; for a warm, inviting feel, choose 2700K-3000K. Dimmable with compatible bulbs and dimmer.
Sizing and fit
The shade measures 16 inches in diameter and 2 inches high. The overall fixture height is 8 inches, but with the included stems (one 6-inch and two 12-inch sections), you can adjust the hanging height from 17 to 41 inches. The canopy is 4.5 inches round. Includes 10 feet of wire.
