Description
A 12-inch mini pendant with a brushed satin nickel cone shade, for kitchen islands and dining rooms.
The Appalachian Collection is part of the Franklin Restoration line, known for heavy metal finishes and industrial-inspired designs. This mini pendant features a cone-shaped metal shade in brushed satin nickel, with a cast brass canopy and intricate detailing. It brings a touch of traditional industrial style to any space.
Best for
- Kitchen islands, hung in a row of two or three for task lighting
- Dining rooms, centered over a table for focused illumination
- Breakfast nooks and casual dining areas
- Entryways and hallways, adding an industrial accent
- Covered patios and porches, thanks to its damp-rated construction
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure - this fixture is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 ft if you need the full 30-inch hanging length
- Rooms where you need bright, focused task lighting - this is an accent or ambient light
How bright is it?
With a maximum 100W bulb (not included), this mini pendant can produce up to 1600 lumens - about as bright as a 100W incandescent, suitable for ambient lighting over a kitchen island or dining table. For a softer glow, use a lower-wattage LED bulb.
Light color and feel
The metal shade directs light downward, creating a focused pool of light. If you use a warm white LED (2700K-3000K), the light will be cozy and inviting. The fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the mood.
Sizing and fit
This mini pendant measures 12 inches in diameter and 5.38 inches in height. It hangs from a stem that can be adjusted from 14.38 to 38.38 inches, making it suitable for ceilings from 8 to 10 feet. The canopy is 4.5 inches in diameter. It weighs 2.7 lbs and requires partial assembly.
