Description
A 12-inch mini pendant with an antique brass metal shade, perfect for kitchen islands and dining areas.
From the Appalachian collection, this pendant features a traditional design with a heavy cast brass canopy and a metal shade that matches the antique brass finish. The interior of the shade matches the exterior, creating a cohesive look. It includes 10 feet of black textured cord, offering flexible hanging options.
Best for
- Kitchen islands, providing focused task lighting over a counter or bar.
- Dining rooms, hung in a row or over a table for ambient light.
- Entryways and foyers, adding a warm, traditional accent.
- Covered patios and porches, as it is damp-rated.
- Spaces with industrial or restoration-vintage style.
Not ideal for
- Large rooms needing bright, primary illumination - this is an accent or task light.
- Bathrooms with direct shower exposure, despite damp rating.
- Spaces with very low ceilings, as the minimum hanging height is 8.88 inches.
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer, but it accepts one 100W incandescent bulb (not included). With a standard 100W bulb, you can expect roughly 1600 lumens, similar to a traditional 100W bulb, suitable for task lighting over a kitchen island.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, inviting glow, select a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The metal shade directs light downward, creating a focused pool of light.
Sizing and fit
This mini pendant measures 12 inches in diameter and 5.88 inches in height. The hanging height is adjustable from 8.88 to 125.88 inches, thanks to the 10-foot cord. The canopy is 4.5 inches in diameter. It is hardwired and requires partial assembly.
