The Melilla large vase was inspired by our travels around the Mediterranean. The natural beauty of the Spanish city Melilla offered countless inspiration from textures to colors. One such color was the deep turquoise of the waters surrounding the bay. The rounded base in an opaque textured finish tapers upward to give way to an oval flared top with deep cut grooved frosted pattern. Beautifully balanced and finished by hand, these vases can be as functional as they are in credible works of art.
