House of Troy Scatchard 28in 1-Light Table Lamp | Transitional Sapphire Ring Ceramic and Cream Linen | Bedroom & Living Room | Model GS400-SR

A 28-inch stoneware table lamp with a Sapphire Ring ceramic base and cream linen hardback shade, made in the USA and sized for bedside or living room use.

The Scatchard lamp pairs a hand-finished ceramic body with a clean, tapered cream linen shade. The Sapphire Ring finish adds a cool, artisanal grey-blue tone that reads as both coastal and transitional, while the stoneware base is made in the USA. It is a substantial lamp that anchors a side table without overpowering the room.

Best for

• Primary bedrooms with a 24-30 inch nightstand, as a reading lamp beside the bed
• Living rooms and family rooms on a console or end table, adding warm ambient light
• Home offices or reading nooks where a 3-way switch lets you shift from task to mood lighting
• Traditional, transitional, or coastal interiors that favor ceramic and linen over metal and glass

Not ideal for

• Very small side tables - the 20-inch diameter shade needs a tabletop at least 24 inches wide
• Rooms where you need a focused task light; the wide linen shade spreads light softly rather than directing it
• Outdoor or damp locations - this lamp is ETL listed for dry indoor use only

How bright is it?

Brightness depends on the bulb you install. The socket is rated for a 250W 3-way medium-base bulb (not included), so with a 3-way LED you can switch between low, medium, and high output. Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer.

Light color and feel

Light color is determined by the bulb you choose. The cream linen hardback shade diffuses light into a soft, even glow that flatters skin tones and wood finishes. A warm white bulb (2700K-3000K) will feel closest to traditional incandescent.

Sizing and fit

Overall dimensions are 20 in W x 20 in D x 28 in H. The shade measures 7 in top x 20 in bottom x 14 in high, and the base is 5 in wide. At 28 inches tall, it suits nightstands and end tables 24-30 inches high in bedrooms and living rooms with standard 8-9 ft ceilings.
