Description
A 22.5-inch stoneware table lamp with a slate ceramic base and cream linen hardback shade, sized for bedside and living room tables.
The Scatchard lamp pairs an American-made stoneware base with a wide drum shade for a grounded, handcrafted look that suits transitional and modern rooms. The slate finish is a cool, muted grey with subtle texture, and the cream linen hardback shade softens light into a warm, even glow.
Best for
- Bedside tables in primary bedrooms, where a 22.5-inch height sits just below most headboards
- Living room console and end tables that need a substantial 17-inch-wide shade
- Home offices and reading nooks that want warm task-adjacent light
- Pairs on either side of a sofa or bed for symmetrical lighting
Not ideal for
- Very small side tables - the 17-inch shade diameter needs a tabletop roughly 20 inches wide or more
- Rooms where you want a slim, low-profile lamp; this is a full-size table lamp
- Outdoor or damp locations - rated for dry indoor use only
How bright is it?
Takes one 150W 3-way medium-base bulb (not included). Lumen output depends on the bulb you choose; a 3-way bulb lets you switch between low, medium, and high brightness from the socket switch.
Light color and feel
Light color is set by the bulb you install. The cream linen hardback shade diffuses output into a soft, warm pool of light rather than a harsh directional beam, which suits relaxing rooms.
Sizing and fit
Overall 17 in wide x 17 in deep x 22.5 in tall. The shade measures 5 in top x 17 in bottom x 12 in tall, and the base is 4.25 in. Works well on standard 24-30 inch high end tables and nightstands.
