Description
A 22.5-inch ceramic table lamp with a cream linen hardback shade, made for bedside tables, consoles, and living room side tables.
The Scatchard pairs a hand-finished stoneware ceramic base with a clean cream linen hardback drum shade. The Sapphire Ring finish reads as a soft grey ceramic with a deep blue banded accent, giving the lamp a calm, tailored look that sits easily in transitional and modern-traditional rooms. Stoneware bases are made in the USA.
Best for
- Bedroom nightstands - a 22.5-inch height that sits below eye level when you're in bed
- Living room side tables and console tables behind a sofa
- Home offices and reading nooks that need warm task-plus-ambient light
- Pairs on either side of a bed or a pair of matching consoles
Not ideal for
- Large rooms where you need a single lamp to light the whole space - this is an accent lamp, not a floor lamp
- Very small side tables under about 14 inches wide, where the 17-inch shade will overhang
- Outdoor or covered porch use - rated for dry indoor locations only
How bright is it?
Takes one 150W 3-way medium-base bulb (not included). Lumen output depends on the bulb you choose; with a 150W-equivalent LED you get strong reading light, and the 3-way switch lets you step down to a softer glow for evening.
Light color and feel
Light color is set by the bulb you install - the lamp ships without one. A 2700K-3000K warm white bulb flatters the cream linen shade and keeps the ceramic finish looking soft rather than stark.
Sizing and fit
Overall 17 in W x 17 in D x 22.5 in H with a 4.25 in base. The shade measures 5 in top x 17 in bottom x 12 in high. Works on standard-height nightstands and end tables in bedrooms and living rooms of most sizes.

Frequently asked
Is the bulb included? No - one 150W 3-way medium-base bulb is required and sold separately.
Is it dimmable? It uses a 3-way switch on the socket, so brightness steps are controlled by a 3-way bulb rather than a wall dimmer.
Can I use it in a bathroom or outdoors? No - it is ETL Listed for dry indoor locations only.
What's the warranty? Warranty terms are not specified by the manufacturer in the supplied data.
How does the Sapphire Ring finish look in person? It is a grey ceramic body with a deep blue banded accent - softer and more muted than a bright cobalt.
