Description
A one-light adjustable pharmacy table lamp in antique brass, built for reading chairs, bedside tables, and desks where the light needs to move with you.
The Pharmacy lamp earns its name from the classic counter-balanced arm that pivots up and down, letting you pull light exactly where it is needed. The antique brass finish gives it a warm, traditional look that sits comfortably beside leather chairs, wood desks, and upholstered headboards.
Best for
- Bedside tables in primary bedrooms, adjusted low for reading and raised for ambient light
- Desks and home offices where a focused task light beats an overhead fixture
- Living room side tables beside a reading chair or sofa
- Traditional and transitional interiors with warm wood and brass accents
Not ideal for
- Very small nightstands - the 8 in base and 16.25 in extension need a tabletop with room to spare
- Rooms where you want a large shade for broad ambient light; this is a directional task lamp
- Spaces that need a hardwired fixture - this lamp plugs in and switches at the socket
How bright is it?
Takes one 75W Type A incandescent bulb (not included). Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer and depends on the bulb you choose - a 75W incandescent equivalent is roughly 1100 lumens, enough for reading and close tasks.
Light color and feel
Light color follows the bulb you install. A warm white bulb in the 2700K-3000K range flatters the antique brass finish and suits bedrooms and living rooms; a cooler bulb works better over a desk. The lamp is not listed as dimmable - brightness is controlled by the on-socket switch.
Sizing and fit
Overall 7 in wide x 14 in deep x 33 in high, with an adjustable height range of 24 in to 32 in and a 16.25 in extension. The 8 in base keeps it stable on a nightstand or desk. Shade measures 5 in x 8 in. Weighs 16 lbs.
