Description
A 20.5-inch tall outdoor wall sconce in Winchester black with satin white glass, sized for entryways, porches, and garage walls.
The La Mirage collection pairs a traditional lantern silhouette with a deep Winchester finish and softly diffused satin white glass. At just over 20 inches tall, this is the larger of the La Mirage wall sconces - substantial enough to anchor a front door without overwhelming a porch column. The 12.25-inch extension throws light forward and down, so steps and walkways stay visible after dark.
Best for
- Front entryways and covered porches, flanking a single door at eye level
- Garage walls and side doors where a larger lantern suits the scale
- Covered patios and breezeways that need ambient light without glare
- Traditional and transitional exteriors in black, bronze, or dark wood tones
Not ideal for
- Exposed locations with no roof overhang - the source lists a UL/cUL safety rating but does not specify a wet-location rating
- Narrow sidelight walls where the 12.25-inch projection would crowd a door swing
- Modern minimalist facades that call for a slim, linear profile
How bright is it?
One 100W medium-base incandescent bulb (not included). Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer and depends on the bulb you choose - a 100W-equivalent LED typically produces around 1,100-1,600 lumens, enough to light a doorway and the path in front of it.
Light color and feel
Light color follows the bulb, not the fixture. The satin white glass softens and diffuses output, so a warm 2700K-3000K bulb reads as a gentle glow rather than a harsh point source. Dimmability depends on the bulb and switch used; the fixture itself does not include a dimmer.
Sizing and fit
Overall 20.5 in high x 11 in wide with a 12.25 in extension from the wall. Backplate is 13 3/4 in H x 7 1/2 in W x 1 in deep. Best on walls at least 11 in wide with room for the projection; suits 8-10 ft porch ceilings and single or double entry doors.
