Description
A 1-light outdoor wall sconce in black with beveled glass, sized for porches, entryways, and garage-side walls.
The Charleston pairs a clean black finish with beveled glass panels for a look that reads traditional without feeling fussy. It is built for exterior walls where you want a warm welcome light beside a door or along a walkway, and the compact 11-inch height keeps it proportionate on narrower wall spaces.
Best for
- Front entryways and covered porches, mounted beside the door at eye level
- Garage side walls and service doors that need a single accent light
- Walkways and patio walls where a pair flanks a passage
- Traditional and transitional exteriors in black trim or dark siding
Not ideal for
- Large blank walls that need a bigger statement piece - this is a compact 11 in tall sconce
- Interior-only installations if you want a matching indoor look; this is an outdoor sconce
- Spaces where you need a wide wash of light - one 100W-max bulb gives focused accent light
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. It takes one medium-base incandescent bulb up to the rated maximum, so brightness depends on the bulb you choose - a typical 60W-equivalent LED gives comfortable accent light beside a door.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulb you install; the fixture ships without a bulb. Warm white (2700-3000K) LEDs suit entryways and porches best, and the beveled glass softens and spreads the light.
Sizing and fit
Overall 6 in wide x 7 in deep x 11 in tall, with a 4 1/2 in square backplate that projects 2 1/4 in from the wall. The 7 in extension means it stands out from the wall enough to clear trim and siding. Works well on single-story entry walls and covered porches.
