Description
A 40-inch linear island pendant with four clear glass shades, finished in brushed gold - built to light a kitchen island or long dining table.
The Latitude collection pairs a slim brushed gold bar with four triangular clear glass shades, so the bulbs stay visible and the light spreads wide across a countertop. It is modern without being cold, and the open glass keeps sightlines clear in open-plan kitchens.
Best for
- Kitchen islands roughly 6-8 ft long, hung as the main task light over the counter
- Dining rooms with a long rectangular table that needs even light end to end
- Open-plan kitchens and dining areas where a single wide fixture replaces two smaller ones
- Modern and transitional interiors with gold, brass, or warm wood accents
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms, covered patios, or any outdoor area - rated for dry indoor locations only
- Rooms with ceilings under about 8 ft if you need the full 44.5-inch hanging height
- Small kitchens or breakfast nooks under 5 ft wide - the 40-inch span will overwhelm the space
How bright is it?
About 3200 lumens with four 60W bulbs installed - comparable to four standard 60W incandescent bulbs. That is enough to serve as the primary light over a kitchen island, not just accent lighting.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulbs you choose since they are not included. With 2700K-3000K warm white bulbs you get a soft golden tone that flatters wood and brass; with 4000K bulbs the look turns crisper and more task-oriented. Dimmable with standard wall dimmers.
Sizing and fit
Overall 40.25 in wide x 4 in deep x 8.5 in tall, with a maximum hanging height of 44.5 in using the included rods. The 36-inch stem and adjustable mounting suit sloped ceilings up to 45 degrees. Each glass shade measures 8 in diameter x 3.75 in tall.
