Description
A 26-inch tall cast iron fireback for living rooms and hearths, finished in matte black, based on a 19th-century Aetna Fire Insurance design.
This fireback is a piece of Americana, replicating a design from the Aetna Fire Insurance Company of Hartford, CT. Solid cast iron construction absorbs heat and radiates it back into the room, improving fireplace efficiency while protecting firebrick. The matte black finish suits traditional and rustic interiors.
